Baby Doll

I started sewing a collection of outfits for this baby doll. The doll and the outfits will be given to my niece Gabriela. I decided to make a layout annoucing the Baby Doll's Birth :-), and giving the doll a name: Gabi.

This is the first outfit that I finished. I described the outfit in my other blog, CBH Needlework. If you have time, drop by there.

For this layout, I used a collection available at Scrapbooks Gone Digital. I used one of the Quick Pages available in the collection. I added some more elements to the Quick Page.

Boy Scout

Fourth of July is just around the corner. This holiday makes me think of how great America is. Also, makes me think what can I do for my children to be great Americans. My oldest one just started Boy Scout (he has been a Cub for several years). I am very proud of him.


For this layout, I used the American Rider Collection ( from ScrapbooksGoneDigital). More specifically, I used this Quick page and added one more element to it. I love this collection. I've used a lot when I needed to make 11 layouts for boys!

Summer is Almost Here!

Summer is almost here! Kids are almost out of school!!! Only two more days!!!

Summer and water are such a perfect pair. I am already making plans with my kids to where we are going to get wet!!! I am thinking Raging Waters, and, of course, a trip to Brasil.

Coyote Ridge Scrapbook - 6 - Bay Checkerspot Butterfly

For this layout I used Happy Spring Collection from ScrapbooksGoneDigital. I used a template named andreagold_temp282sq from Andrea Gold. I flipped the layout horizontally.


As I mentioned in the first post of this series, the main reason we got interested to know Coyote Ridge was because of the Checkerspot Butterfly. According to Wikipedia, the Bay checkerspot butterfly (Euphydryas editha bayensis) is a federally threatened insect species which is native to California. Since the 1980s the population of Checkerspots has been in serious decline.
